Dress Ups!!

So today me and Mayz decided to get all dressed up and have a little tea party!

What a poser! I love that Mayz is into the girly stuff! We all know that I am a bit of priss myself and I am glad I can do this type of stuff with her. She is just my favorite!

Hogle Zoo!!

Last week Auntie Sammie and Zelle invited us to go the Zoo with them! We had lots of fun and Mayz and Zelle loved seeing all the animals!

Once Mayz saw the carousel there was no getting passed it. She just loves them! So she picked the giraffe and we went for a ride!

Snow!

Well we finally had a little snowfall this winter so me and Mayz decided it was time to build ourselves a little snowman!

Happy Anniversary!!

I know I say this all the time but I really can't believe how fast time flies by. We celebrated our 5 year anniversary almost 2 weeks ago. I cannot believe it has been that long. We had a good day, Bren had to work but we still were able to enjoy some time together.

I gave him this gift, since there are 5 senses I thought it would be cute. I got the idea on the dating divas website. I love their website. Anyways there was a little gift attached to a note for each of the senses that mapped out our evening. It was a fun idea.
I made him dinner of all his favs and made it as fancy as I could. I think it turned out pretty cute.

We finished our night by going to a play at the Hale Center Theatre. It was called the 39 Steps. We enjoyed ourselves and had a good laugh. I sure love this guy and am so glad we have had such a great 5 years together!!

Kangaroo Zoo!

On New Year's Eve day we decided to take Mayzie to the Kangaroo Zoo. We had never been before and thought we would check it out. She was a little hesitant at first but once she got the hang of it she was loving it. We couldn't get her to stop. We will definitely have to make our way back.

Christmas 2011!

I am a little late at posting but here ya go! We had a wonderful Christmas and got to spend so much time with family. Mayz was so fun this year, she wanted every toy out of its packaging the second she opened it! We started our Christmas a week early with Bren's mom. We had a wonderful dinner and then relaxed and opened gifts together.

Christmas Eve opening her Christmas Jammies. Bren had to work most of the day Christmas Eve so we just went to our annual pizza party and then drove around and looked at Christmas lights then came home opened Jammies and put Mayz to bed so Santa could come work his magic!

Christmas morning we woke Mayz up bright and early. We had to be to church at 9 and the rest of our day was busy so we had to get up and open our presents at home before we went to church. She wasn't quite ready to be awake yet but it didn't take long for her to jump into the presents and wake up!

Santa brought Mayz her very own jeep. At first she didn't want much to do with it. I think she was still a little too sleepy.

She also got some princess figurines and is in love wth them.

After church we went to my parents house for breakfast and presents. We had our traditional breakfast casserole and muffins! It was delicious.

After that we headed up to the Conner cabin to spend the rest of the day with Bren's dad. We relaxed, watched movies and had a fabulous dinner. We stayed the night there and celebrated Grandpa's birthday the next day!

Mayz had her fair share of treats over the holidays and there is the evidence to prove it.

We are so thankful for family and the time we had to enjoy with them!
