Advice?!?

Alright all you mamas out there I have a question.. So this cute girl here is almost 18 months old, and she seems to really have an interest in potty training. She already can tell me when she needs to go poop and we run to the bathroom and she sits on the potty and goes. She is a pretty smart little kid. So question is, is she too young to start potty training?? How do you go about it at this age? She is good about letting me know when she has to poop but I have no idea when she needs to pee. How do you figure it out? What are the best ways to start? I would love to have her potty trained before she is 2, I just don't want to rush it. Any advice would be much appreciated!!
Thanks!!

Ice Castles!!

We decided to take Mayz up to see the Ice Castles in Midway. They are so cool. He really did a great job this year. If you get a chance to go you should. They are really awesome and a fun little something to go do with your fam.
They are huge. These are just a few of them.

Daddy and Mayz

Our little fam!

Mayz loved exploring and walking around.

C E L E B R A T E !

So for our Anniversary this year I was in charge, I decided to just plan a fun all day date. Just spending time together was what we needed, we hardly see eachother because Bren is always so busy. So Bren got off work at noon and we went and dropped Mayz off at Grandma Allred's and we headed up to Midway to go Ice Skating.
But when we got there the rink was closed because of mechanical problems. Boo:( As you can see the rink was complete slush and really wouldn't be too fun to skate on. So we drove up to Midway for nothing. At least we had a nice little drive.
So instead we came back down and went to Nickel City. I won't lie, we had a lot of fun. It felt like highschool again and we were dating. It was great. We got about 400 tickets and of course got some fun little prizes for Mayz.

Bren shootin some hoops.

Me rockin guitar hero!

Then we decided to go to Trafalga and go mini-putting. It was glow in the dark and it was pretty fun, Bren of course kicked my butt, but it was still fun.

We felt like little kids, but had fun being together. We finished the night off by going to dinner at Pizza Factory and then going to a play at the Hale Center Theatre. It was called The Foreigner, seriously so funny. If you want a good date this is it. We laughed so hard and had such a good time. The cast was awesome and did such a good job.
All in all we had a pretty great anniversary even if we felt like little kids.

Miss Mayzie!

I haven't posted about my favorite little gal in a while so I thought I would. She is now over 16 months old and is a ball of energy and of fun. We love her so much and love this stage of life.
My cute girl all dressed up and ready for church. Complete with baby, blankie, and binky. Can't go anywhere without them.
Give her the blankie and binky and she sleeps like a rock.

She loves to play with her cousin Avery.

and give kisses to her new cousin Zelle.

Reading books is still one of her favorite past times.

She loves to eat and will eat just about anything.

She loves her baby doll.

And playing with her toys in our homemade hut. Mom is not a very good hut builder though, we need to get daddy to build her a better one.

Always wakes up with crazy bed hair.

She tries to put her shoes and sometimes clothes on by herself.

She loves to eat cereal while I do her hair.

and play with all her stuffed animals in her tent.
There are so many fun things about this cute girl, these are just a few. She is saying all sorts of new words. Dada and Mommy are of course her favorites. She also says Please and thank you. Mama(grandma) papa (grandpa), gank key (blankie) ginky (binky), hi, bye, Duke duke, cracker, baba, she also knows lots of animal sounds and I am sure there are others that I can't think of right now she is a little jabber box.
This girl never stops, just watching her move makes ya tired, she doesn't pause for 2 seconds and definitely keeps me on my toes.

Christmas 2010! (Warning! Picture Overload)

I know I am a little late but at least I am posting it. I hope to be better at posting on my blog now that I have the internet at my house. We will see, but don't hold your breath ;)
We had so much fun on Christmas this year. Mayz was great at opening presents and throwing the tissue paper all over the place. She had a blast and got spoiled with lots of fun new things, we love playing with all the cool toys.
Duke decided he needed to sit with Mayz while we drove to the cabin.

Finally time for the babas.

Mayz thought her dolly stroller was for her, but she is just a little too big;)

And try on all her new outfits

Loves new toys!

Yay for presents.

Mayz did not like the big man. Hopefully next year will be better.

I love this picture of Avery, she was terrified and wanted to get as far away from Santa as she could, but then she went and sat on his lap with no problems. Silly girl.

We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy new year!!
