Happy Anniversary to us!!

Happy 3 years to the man I love.. I can't believe another year has flown by.. I am so grateful for my wonderful husband and for the amazing man he is. He is such an example to me and I look up to him so much. He is the man of my dreams and I am so glad he picked me. Thanks for all you do babe. I love you so much and can't wait for the many years to come and grow old with you.

MeRrY ChRiStMaS!!!

We had such a wonderful Christmas this year... it was so much fun to have Mayz with us. Not that she really knew what was going on but it was fun for mom and dad.. We love having both of our families so close so we can enjoy the holidays with all of them.. What an enjoyable time of year, I just love Christmas and am excited for the next one cause Mayz will be so much fun next year..

Mayzie is getting so BIG!!!!

Mayz is already over 3 months old.. It is so much fun and I love each new thing that comes as she gets older. She is smiling and talking so much more now and I absolutely love it.

Being a big girl in her bumbo and watching tv. She loves to see all the colors and movements.
Mayz and Avery love to watch Grandma's train go around. As soon as the train would stop Mayz would start crying and would stop the second we started it up again. It was pretty funny.

2 Months already!!!

So my sweet baby girl will be 2 months old tomorrow, I really don't know where the time goes these days. She had her 2 month appointment on Thursday and had to get her first round of shots.. Ouch.. She actually did really well and only cried for a little bit. It is no fun to watch as they poked her, but we made it through and she is all better now. She is getting so big...

I can't believe how big my little chunker is. Her little pot gut gets bigger and bigger and I love it.

Things she is doing:

• She holds her head up really well and gets stronger everyday
• She is starting to smile and her gummy smile melts my heart
• She is cooing and tries so hard to get more sound to come out, it is so cute to watch her try
• She sleeps about 8 hours at night, which mom loves :)
• She loves her swing and loves watching herself and the mobile
• She is beginning to notice her hands, but still hits herself in the face a lot
• She loves to take baths in her little tub
• She can sit in her bumbo pretty well but isn't quite there yet, she still bobs around a lot

Weekend Getaway!!

So this past weekend we went with my family on a little trip, it was Mayzie's first trip away from home and she did awesome. We went because Bren, my dad and brothers had a bike trip planned through Bryce Canyon and Zions. They did so good, in a matter of 3 days they rode about 200 miles on their bikes. Pretty impressive huh!! They were a little sore but were proud to accomplish it. I don't have any pics on my camera from their biking but I will try and get some and post them. Anyways us girls all went down and met them on Friday and just hung out, then went to St. George on Saturday and came home Sunday. We had a fun time and were just happy to get away for a little while. Mayzie did so good in the car she basically slept the whole time and would only wake up about 10 minutes away from our destination. It was awesome.

Birthmark..

Sp Mayzie has a very distinct birthmark on her hand. I really like it, it is like her own little trademark and makes her even more unique. So I wanted to make sure to get pictures of it in case it someday fades, because right now it is really dark. So they aren't the greatest but they let ya see what it looks like. It almost looks like a fingerless glove. I just love it.

On a side note, my little girl is a month old today. Please explain how this happened, it seems like I just brought her home. Why does time have to go by so fast. I mean I am so excited for each new stage that we will get to, but it just comes so fast. It is crazy. I don't want her to grow up soo fast.
